The Word of God is our final authority. We do not base our belief system as Christians on what we see with our natural eyes, we always use the Word of God as our final authority. In Matthew 6:9-10, the Lord lets us know His will. He wants things to be here on Earth as it is in Heaven. Heaven has no sin and no disease. We know from the Scripture that God's will isn’t always accomplished. Once we know His will, no matter how rough it gets, we persevere. We can be sure that if our God said it, we can believe it. It’s more of a risk not to believe God. He is our sure foundation. He is reliable. He is good. He is love. He is the Creator of the universe. He can be trusted, regardless of the visible obstacles. I know this from experience; however, experience has nothing to do with faith. Faith is not seeing what you are believing for with your natural eyes, yet anticipating its arrival.
"Jesus said to him, "no one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."
Conituing with Joy to lay hands on my child, speak to the 'mountain', speak blessings and declare the Word of God over them, bind the birth defect and agree with Jesus. "Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven." (Matthew 6:10)
